Kakuma

BHB Kakuma was set up to reach the refugees with a message of Hope and empower them skillfully to be able to live a better life here in Kenya and be productive when they return to their home nations in future as well putting the needs of the Host community into consideration.

BHB Kakuma is non-political and we have and welcome various programmes that focuses on the Refugees and the Host community ranging from Spiritual, Education, Social Life, Peace initiatives and Development issues among others.

We broadcasts in Swahili and English as well as playing songs from various communities and nations. We also have a 2hr Turkana language broadcast in the afternoon.

BHB Kakuma was officially launched by the former Presiding Bishop AIC Kenya Rev Dr Silas Yego on 29th March 2019.

Marsabit – Chalbi 91.1FM

BHB Chalbi 91.1 is based in Dukana, North Horr Constituency in Marsabit county the cradle of mankind. As a Satelite station of Biblia Husema Broadcasting we essentially the voice of the great Chalbi dessert reaching as far as Dilo in Ethiopia to the Northern side. To the west our reach covers Turbi and as far as Sololo in Moyale. To the East Sarimo and Saru. To the south we are audible in Ngoroi, Korr and as far as Loyangalani Lake Turkana.

We have a niche coverage of the Northern part of Marsabit county covering the major towns like Maikona, Kalacha, North Horr, Shegel, Elhade, Elgadi, Dukana and Hurri hills among many more.
We are a faith based radio station and we broadcast in Kiswahili, Samburu and Gabbra some of the main languages spoken in the region. Our evening show is one of the highest rated and the one in Samburu one of the fastest growing. We are on 91.1Fm.
Samburu show airs from 4-7pm it is the drive show. It is followed by News from HQ Nairobi via satelite then a music interlude with bible teachings. The Gabbra show then airs from 8-11pm. The rest of the hours we connect to Nairobi
