Opportunity Summary:
The intern’s main areas of learning are: Market analysis, Strategy development and implementation,
Marketing campaign implementation, Client engagement and management, Budgeting, Multi-level
branding, Events planning, Front office management and management advisory.
Areas of Responsibility and Learning
• Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand
• Working with marketing professionals to develop social media marketing campaigns
• Interacting with customers and other stakeholders via the company’s social media accounts
• Analyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
• Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
• Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
Knowledge and Experience
Enrolled in diploma, or equivalent, in marketing or a related field at a recognized institution. (Course
completion is as added advantage).
POSITION TITLE: RADIO PRESENTER

RADIO PRESENTER– BIBLIA HUSEMA BROADCASTING
Biblia Husema broadcasting is a Christian Media House in Kenya and is committed to faithfully making God known as revealed in the Bible and through the life and ministry of Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. Biblia Husema Broadcasting is seeking to fill the position of a radio presenter.
Ministry Requirements
- Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
- Demonstrates behaviour aligned with Biblia Husema Broadcasting’s Mission ,Vision and Values
- Effectively represents Jesus Christ to those in their personal and professional spheres of influence.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be able to do the following;
- Generating concepts for radio shows through research and planning execution.
- Develop programming and scheduling for programs/blocks assigned.
- Host on-air programs and conduct interviews/conversation pieces.
- Ensuring compliance and that everything runs on schedule while the show is on-air.
- Using various broadcasting technologies such as soundboards and editing/production software.
- Respond to audience feedback and foster engagement on various platforms;
- Monitoring audience numbers and using them to inform content delivery.
- Write comprehensive reports of your program/broadcast segment to include but not limited to the audience stats and outstanding occurrences that may affect the station positively or negatively.
- Market the assigned segment with an aim to generate income for the station.
Qualifications & Experience
- A Minimum of a Diploma in Journalism or related field from an accredited institution.
- At least 2 years in a similar position.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English
- Excellent in storytelling
- Creative mind in executing promotions.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written).
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Understand Media Law and Ethics
- A good overall knowledge of the radio industry and the specifics.
- Strong ability in English will be an added advantage

- Minimum of (2) two years working experience in a similar position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google tools
